Holy cow, it's been a long time. I've been on maternity leave, plus I was put in charge of the Fisheries Habitat Mapping Project here at Division of Marine Fisheries. Apologies for the lack of attention to this!

It is field season again and here's some information:
1. USGS is doing groundtruthing of acoustic datasets they collected last year in Cape Cod Bay.
2. NOAA hydro branch is surveying in Vineyard Sound (chart down below) -- thanks to Matt Wingate for the information.
3. We'll be out here and there in Buzzards Bay and parts of Nantucket Sound; our survey areas probably won't exceed about 1 sq mile each.

Have you heard about the Mass Ocean Management Plan? That deserves it's own entry...more later.
